Davao City Council joins Pipol's Power

Pipol's Power has officially reached the Davao City Council during yesterday's regular session (June 26, 2012) courtesy of Councilor Pilar C. Braga who generously shared her privilege hour with Mindanao Commission on Women chair emerita and CEO Irene Morada Santiago to brief the city councilors about the campaign to keep Agus Pulangi Hydro Power Complex in people's hands. The City Council passed a resolution to support the Pipol's Power campaign and the proposed House and Senate bills to exempt Agus Pulangi from privatization under the EPIRA. Mabuhay, Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Dabaw!
